  1. Thank God for Phil. Thanks Phil! So yeah I wanna explain the caliwampis quad off the face of a jump.So yeah I’ve rode and raced some bikes for 30 years. At 40 I went to the quad and the woods ( no jumps ).So I have some races I’ve done on it is half woods and half moto track. So yes I’ve jumped it.Its scetchy!! But it behaves the same in the air as a bike ( Mentally it works the same ) ..On the bike if you come off the face and your out of shape? You turn the bars and un weight a peg,Lean etc..Same thing for the quad..You can’t freeze up and not move….Next the bars have insane head shake. So much it rips the bars out of your hands if your out of shape in breaking bumps.Hence the stupid thumb throttle.I couldn’t ride at all with the thumb thing.I put a twist on the quad,But Whiskey throttle is for REAL and stupid dangerous…But for sure I feel I’m faster and safer on my bikes.

  2. I have to agree with Phil. Riding a quad on a moto track is brutal! You have to give those guys credit. For me riding a bike is easier and more fun. On the reverse of that a quad is more fun in the dunes.

  3. I don’t know anything about dunes…..Just 2 hour races through glen hell
En breaking bumps and that’s the whole course for 10 miles..Then try to survive and not quit.
