With rain battering down in Southern California, there were three guys that got the gift of a dry track here in Vegas.

You can also seem some of these shots and more over at TWMX.com in their Monday Kickstart Column right HERE.
This is Chad’s bike for next year more or less. The orange logo on airbox is electronics company who provides the ignitions. I like the look and there’s no way you’re not going to know that Chad is any other number than two-two. |
He looked as fast as ever out there on a full-blown sx track that Hart & Huntington has. Don’t count him out folks… |
Chad spent a few days at the Honda track testing some things and then retreated out to Castillo Ranch where Mark Barnett built him a track and since then, he’s been out there. Think Rocky in Rocky IV. |
Another guy that was out there was H&H’s own Ivan Tedesco and like I said in the TWMX report, out of all the riders I have seen this off-season (and to be fair, it’s not a ton), IT9 looks to be the most improved. |
Also out there was GEICO Honda’s Wil Hahn who has to be one of the favorites for the west 250 title. |
After he was done his motos, Wilbur goon-rode for me a bit but I’m not sure if this is part of that or he’s trying here. |
Wil would start a few seconds in front of Tedesco and then Ivan would try to chase him down. |
Ivan got close in the whoops a few times. Chad’s on the triple cheering the guys on. |
He got right alongside him at one point but Wil got the better drive and pulled back out. |
By the end of the day, the track was dry and slick. The guys were looking for traction everywhere. |
Sometimes they couldn’t find it no matter how hard they looked. |
Nice mountains in the background and a raised viewing platform with a great track design makes me think we’ll see more guys head up here to ride. |
As I said, Hahn was on it. |
Tedesco’s weapon next year. Managed by Kenny Watson… |
