Ok, now that your signed up, take advantage of everything that Pulpmx.com has to offer and one of those things is the Fantasy League for Supercross and Motocross. Have you noticed the button next to the one that says “Forum”? The one just to the right takes you to the Fantasy League page. You can see past winners, 2011 Team breakdowns, riders numbers, and when it is officially published, who’s riding the East/ West Coasts in the Lites class. You are now armed with all the information you need to play. Yes there are quite a few fantasy leagues out in the worldwide web land, but this one is ran by fan and a member of Pulpmx, Smith201. He takes his time each week to calculate the totals and post each weeks winners and the points standings. So this is for the fans by a fan, feels just like the rest of Pulpmx right? This fantasy league is strictly about fun and testing your armchair team manager skills. If you think your a well studied fan of the sport and can pick the top 5 each week, make sure you join us in 2011 for the Pulpmx.com SX Fantasy League.
The rules are simple:
Choose Top 5 picks for both the 250 and 450. For each exact position you will get 5 points. Additionally, if any of your choices are not exactly correct but are still in the top 5 you will get 1 point for each.
Bonus Points: This is a chance to get 10 bonus points for anyone who guesses the correct 10th place rider each week in the 450 class only. *This gives someone that is behind or misses a week a chance to catch back up and challenge for the overall points standings.
Deadline for picks is 1 hour before the event starts.
If the event officially starts at 7PM per the AMA’s or Feld’s schedule, that makes 6PM is the deadline for getting in your picks.
