  1. That’s the moto hoe, Cindy Woods in the pic with the Hurricane manager. Judy McCormick was the blonde racer from Colorado .. whom pointed out the ‘Mugen’ water-pumper and Japanese 125 forks, on the all American made Hurricane open-class motocross racer.
    I’m not sure how Melons bike turned into an 82 model, but it was really nice of that total stranger to offer Rick the set of White Brothers shocks that he was saving for the finals. Too bad Yamaha started running a mono-shock, many years before that. So team Melon decided to go with a nice set of blue shocks from a ford ranger, instead
