Thomas Covington was third in race 1, but crashed in race 2 and damaged his bike. Hard to belive that Max Anstie was the king in MXoN last fall. Now he was 8th overall and far from his form in MXoN. Hunter Lawrence (signed to Geico Honda 2019->) crashed hard in race one and hit his head. He did not return for race 2. Jorge Prado was that fastest MX2 rider in Latvia, but his first race crash left to much work to do. He won race two and was fourth overall. Eric ”The Kid” Geboers was in memoriam in Kegums. It was Tony Cairoli 222th GP and he finished 2-2 for 2nd overall. It was hot in Kegums. At sunday temperature was about 28 celsius (something like 83F). Gautier Paulin rode his best GP this year and was third overall with 4-3 results. Romain Febvre was third in race one, but crashed in race two and hurt his hand. Nothing is broken, but he will sit out for few races most likely. Jeffrey Herlings was in his own league in Kegums. His bad starts made the racing interesting as he was charging trough the pack. root
