  1. What! No mention of the 91 models with the white plastic, red frame/hubs, and mint green accents? They even had a big red check mark on the shrouds so you knew they were legit.

  2. Thanks for another excellent article, out of the ones on here the ’88 500MX and ’90 250MX are my favourites.

    Interestingly, in 1987 the Tamiya plastic model company released an ’84 KTM250MX in 1:12 scale which is identical to the ’85 featured here minus the USD forks. I built this kit when I was about 13 and just getting into motorcycles and it taught me a great deal about how the components of a modern (at the time) dirt bike fit and work together.
