I met Corie from Anchor Tape Co this year at Minneapolis when attending the Supercross race with Matthes. Corie was making cool one off parts for his guy Jack Chambers and he asked me to run his frame grip tape, which I liked! He mentioned he would be making some one off old school vented number plates and I told him to make sure to look me up when he did. Anchor Tape sent me a surprise box before the World Vet race at Glen Helen and I was stoked to see that it looked bad ass on the 2022 YZ450F! I got a lot of compliments on the look of the vented plate as I was lining up for the race because if you were a 90s moto kid or even early 2000s, you know the vented plates were sick!
Corie prefers you to send your front number plate of choice and graphic, but he can also do you up a custom graphic as well (yes, you can send him any type of front number plate). Surprisingly the vents hold up well to roost and even are color matched to your backgrounds. My next stop is to have Anchor Tape build me up a KTM vented plate for the KTM 450 SX-F.
