After a night of watching Supercross, nobody seems to remember the riders that didn’t quite make the main event, unless that rider is Vince Friese. To test this theory, I text a couple people that I knew watched the race to see if they could recall who came up Just Short in the 250 class at A1.

With such a stacked field in the 450 class it’s inevitable that there will be some riders coming up Just Short this year that shouldn’t be watching the race from the stands, butt down on the gate (or behind the gate as Weege says). A divine intervention seemed to cause Friese to stall his bike and come up Just Short of qualifying… It was definitely ironic. Nobody was getting a Friese interview this week, shocking not even I could pull it off. The Friese/Peick debacle gave everyone plenty to talk about this week and I hit up some people in the moto industry, foolish enough to give me their phone number to get their thoughts.
