  1. Thanks for sharing excellent informations. Your web-site is very cool. I’m impressed by the details that you on this web site. It reveals how nicely you understand this subject. Bookmarked this website page, will come back for more articles. You, my pal, ROCK! I found simply the information I already searched everywhere and simply could not come across. What an ideal web-site.

  2. Good piece, good web site! Raced the very sudden twin plug version and then the later updated, slightly softer powered version from new, in Scotland in the mid eighties. Everything you say is true, long straights, long bends and big single jumps: fine; anything more technical: lethal.

  3. You WAY overplayed the negatives of this fabulous bike. I have an ’82 and it was the most fun bike I have ever had. Clumsy handling? Hardly, this thing will do one wheel power slides around large sweepers all day. It is the only bike I have ever ridden that always scared the crap out of me and saved me, on every ride. The forks are a couple of noodles, but the front wheel isn’t on the ground very much anyway. Hill climbing in third gear worked about the best as the power was almost unlimited. Third gear hole shots would always dig an impressive trench. It was famous for destroying the rear tire in one afternoon of riding and would do impressive burnouts on pavement. It just doesn’t want to crash and it will put up with terrible trails while excavating mountains of dirt. The power is awesome, it makes a good trail bike for the high desert, or a bad-ass fire road slider. You don’t sit down in it, like a Maico, or perch on top of it, like an IT465. It always was reliable and I put thousands of miles on mine.
