  1. This is a purely an underestimation of the Baja’s success in District 37 desert racing. Sure, as any other bike at that time, esp the 100’s quest for better handling and power. You could achieve that fairly easy when the bike was MODIFIED. That;s the key. They kicked ass in the desert when you did. It’s called BAJA. Brakes aren’t much of a problem in desert racing , except in steep downhils. It was a good bike IMHO.
