We’re very proud of our little Zachy-poo.
Zach Osbourne! After spending the past couple of years in Europe fighting for the MX-2 World Championship, Zach decided to stay home for the month of January and race some Supercross. At the 1st round in Anaheim, Zach proved he belonged on the SX track buy posting a very impressive 9th place finish. At the next round in Phoenix Zach’s confidence started to build as he raced hard to a very impressive 6th at the end of the night. Then this past weekend at the LA SX, Zach ran up front all night posting the 2nd fastest lap in practice and then racing hard to a 3rd place, podium finish. A 9th a 6th and a 3rd, lets hope his results continue in 3’s….. He would look very good on the top of that podium!
This link is a great short interview with Zach http://www.mxlarge.com/news/5997-zach-osborne-interview-the-video
Michael Leib 7th
Not to get lost in the hype of Zach’s podium finish, Michael Leib also had a very impressive night in LA. Like Zach, Leib has also spent the past couple of years racing in Europe and is just now learning the Supercross game. He also rode hard all night finishing a very impressive 7th overall. Look for Michael to be on the podium before years end.
Kyle Chisolm 12th
Riding for the newly formed Jeff Ward race team aboard a Kawasaki 450, Kyle is still adapting to the new bike. Plagued with bad starts all night, and actually throughout the first three rounds, Kyle has battled from the back of the pack to have some great finishes. In LA it was the same. Kyle raced hard from the back of the pack to a very respectable 12th place finish against the best riders in the world! Look for Kyle in the top 5 very soon!
