I was checking out my web stats the other day since the beginning of the year and found out an interesting thing.
Since Jan 1st, this site has had almost 200,000 visitors which is cool and amazing all by itself. I mean seriously, how many MX websites that don’t have press releases, current interviews or any race reports of any kind yet has an entire section devoted to Ross "Rollerball" Pederson get that kind of traffic?
Thank you to everyone that comes here, I appreciate it and I like to think that this is just the beginning. We’re on the underground right now but more and more people are coming around to check it out. I started putting my TWMX stuff up here because I was getting emails telling me that people didn’t go there, didn’t like to go there or whatever but seriously, it’s pretty good and has some really cool stuff on it. Anyways, I’ll keep putting my TWMX stuff up here for you guys.
Anyways, look for a re-launch of this place because I think it deserves it and Marty, my web-ninja has found some time somwhere. Look for a redesigned forum, better navagation and some multi-media things as well. I’m, like, really pumped on my next idea. It’s going to change the way you watch races and it’ll blow your wig back. Just wait…
So I’m going through my stats and below are the cities that have visited this site the most since the beginning of the year.
- LA (no big shock here, it’s a pretty big place and is moto-crazy)
-Sydney, Australia (Yes! I’m surprised as hell that a city of only 4 million or so is my number two city. Thank you Aussies, I now love all things Australian. Even Kangeroo Jack or whatever in the hell he was called)
-Winnipeg (This would normally be a shock but this barren ice city is where I’m from and half the clicks are from my mom and brother. The other half is from Trevor Greaves.)
-Las Vegas (3/4 of the clicks are from me seeing who is clicking on the site.)
-New York (The Big Apple has spoken…)
-Portland (Surprising? Yes. A great city and one of my favorite places to visit? Yes sir.)
-San Diego (I used to live in San Diego when I worked at KTM. I couldn’t even afford to live in a refrigerator box in this incredible city.)
-Calgary (A little surprising but I’ve always been big with the Canadians. Or maybe just a big Canadian. Either way, thank you Calgarians. Sorry about the Flames who are destined to fail with so many Leafs in the line-up.)
-Auckland (The Kiwis have spoken. Kind of a surprise here, half of the clicks must be from the King brothers.)
-Seattle (Love me some Pacific Northwest. Combine Portland and Seattle and they would be my fourth biggest visitor. Porteattle or Sealand..either one just rolls off the tongue.)
-Phoenix (A big off-road state, this placing seems about right.)
-Melbourne (Again the Aussies strike with another city in the top twelve. Good on ya mate!)
-Denver (Why is the damm airport so far from the city? That’s what I’d like to know.)
-Brisbane (Sweet Jesus, it’s clear that the Aussie’s love Pulpmx. What else can I say?)
-Worthing (This is in England by the way. I had to Google it.)
-Edmonton (Again with the Canadian thing. What’s weird is Montreal, Vancouver and Toronto have 3/4 of Canada’s population but yet Winnipeg, Calgary and Edmonton show up in the top twenty and Toronto is 46th. Right above Temecula.)
-San Francisco (The gays love Pulp! NO but seriously, a really cool city.)
-Helsinki (Huh? Yep, the Finns are down with me and Pulp. It’s rival country Sweden could only put Bromma in the top 100 on Pulp. Suck on that Sweden!)
-Atlanta (They have this 8-billion acre riding area in GA called Breeman (or something like that) and I’d like to ride there one day. I would not like to be struck by a Rhino coming the other way down a trail though.)
-Adelaide (I had to Google this as well. Guess where it is? Australia! It’s unbelievable how down with Pulp the Aussies are. I love Chad Reed, Mick Dundee and Mick Doohan!!)
