There are a couple times every season when the last transfer position in the LCQ comes down to the last lap and the last corner.

The “Whales Vagina II” was one of those races with Cade Clason making a last corner pass on the “Milestone Assassin”, only to have it quickly taken away for jumping over the tuff blocks. I’m sure the rule book reads that you can’t advance your position by leaving the track, butt this seems like a gray area to me. Watch this video clip Swisscore was kind enough to pull for me, and decide for yourself.
When I got in touch with Cade to get his thoughts on the “Shortcut”, I thought I’d play a little joke on him and pretend I was with the AMA, assuming it wood be too outlandish for anyone to believe. To Cades credit, he immediately called me after receiving a text message about getting fined for cutting the track and I had a really hard time trying to disguise my voice and keep from laughing. I didn’t drag it out too long before telling him I am a dick and was just messing with him. He took it in stride and said getting a fine would have been the icing on the cake after last weekend. I didn’t take any shortcuts this week, so read my interview with Cade, do it.
#761 Cade Calson – Look a rider wearing AXO gear in his natural habitat, crickey I haven’t seen one of them in years. #noshortcuts |
An honorabe mention to this week’s 250 rider that came up Just Short…
#82 Trever Reis – Nothing personal Trever but I’m not digging the yellow gloves and yellow boot buckles. Besides that the Darth Vader black on blue looks nice. |
