Hi, Thanks again for the great show, insight and content.
I have always wondered if the privateers get a base payment from Feld for showing up to qualify? (Payment beyond any qualification “winnings” and private sponsorships). I was just thinking that if Feld decides to indeed go with more triple crown style events, how are the privateers going to realistically fair? Will it really become an issue? Would they receive more payments for attending and qualifying events? The sport needs the privateers and it would be nice to see them be able to better compete against the factories i think.
