Tampere Supercross was raced over the weekend in its namesake city, Tampere, Finland.
This year’s event delivered plenty of action and great racing. The opening night’s victory went to Harri Kullas, who has dominated the event for years. Estonia’s Jörgen Talviku finished second ahead of France’s Adrien Malaval. Americans Tristan Lane and Cade Clason followed in fourth and fifth. On the second night, Clason took the holeshot and led almost until the very end before Malaval passed him to take the win. Clason finished second and Lane third. Mike Alessi was fourth and Estonia’s Kaarel Tilk fifth. Kullas was forced to retire after slamming his chest against the handlebars on the landing of a triple jump.
Malaval was ultimately crowned the King of Tampere.

Adrien Malaval won the second day of racing and was crowned the overall winner of the weekend. Cade Clason finished second and Tristan Lane third.

No, it´s not boxing, it´s just SX2 racing.

Finnish fans love Cade Clason, but once again, victory slipped through his fingers.

Handlebar running is still allowed in Finland and people made the most of it.

Rene Rannikko put on a show during the opening ceremony and also lined up for the race.

18-year-old Kelana Humphrey raced on a Stark Varg and will head to the Paris Supercross next weekend.

Mike Alessi raced in Tampere for the first time. The legend was initially a bit puzzled by the track but powered his way to fourth in Saturday’s final.

French rider Adrien Malaval also raced in Tampere for the first time and took the win right away.

Tampere Supercross king Harri Kullas won the opening night, but in Saturday’s final he came up short on a triple, was injured in the crash, and retired from the race.

In Finland, people love sauna and flames.

Once again, Saturday’s race was sold out, and Friday drew a record crowd.

Cade Clason grabbed the lead in Saturday’s final and held it until the third-to-last lap, when Malaval made the pass.
Kasimir Hindersson won both nights in SX2.
