The ’85 SX finals were a big moment in the sport and in this week’s Pulpmx Classic Commentary, we talk to the 125 winner that night.
Going into the last race of the goofy two-moto format of the 1985 Supercross series, three riders had a chance to win the title. Broc Glover and Jeff Ward were tied and Ron Lechien was only three points back. The Pasadena Rose Bowl was the site of the race and the guy who won the 125 west class that night was Larry Brooks, not the team owner/manager of the L&M San Manuel Yamaha team.
Check this out as Larry takes us through what he was thinking that night as well as the titanic battle between Ward and Glover.
