Try a ktm bottom guide on the kx instead of the std roller or tm design works roller. The tm one is too hard and makes a terrible chain noise.
Also the ktm is dirt cheap.
My 19 kx has done 48hours now and guide still strong.
Just a very cheap and easy alternative and good fix.
