I like your honesty Keefer with these tests..and unlike some I do think shootouts are valuable (especially since I am the consumer).
My one criticism is that a pro’s opinion is not as valuable to me, (as I am a complete slug compared to you and other pro’s,)- or to the vast majority of riders who represent the market for 450’s.
If you are going to do a subjective review, most of the test riders should be novices, vet novices, amateurs, and not pro’s because pro’s generally
don’t buy bikes and their opinions, however valid, will not relate to the primary market buying the bikes!
