A few weeks ago I texted Matthes with a simple question, “Who’s going faster, RV in this era, or RC in his prime?” His answer surprised me.

The debate of World MX racers versus the US offerings is decades old. Until this outdoor series US fans have remained, rightfully, pretty smug. The tide may be turning.

Change is a weird thing. It can be good or bad, welcomed or looked upon as an impostor. Ironically, it can also be the same.

All the talk after two rounds is, rightfully so, the impenetrable force that is RV2.

I may be guilty of tardiness for the opening round of MX but I’m sharing the burden.

Well that’s a wrap! It seems like only a few weeks ago, not months, that this series was kicking off with wildly different results than anyone could have anticipated in the 450 class.

The much ballyhooed “penultimate” round of the Supercross series was setup for either max-drama or predictable deflation.

This season is moving right along. 15 rounds are now in the books and Seattle was typical with it’s damp conditions, plastic covered track, abbreviated program and of course, ruts.

For the first time since 2008, the series headed into a cold and very snowy Minneapolis Minnesota. 

I have an interview to transcribe, a lunch date with Chiz for another interview, 3 videos to edit AND I wrote Swizcorner… did I mention I’m on vacation?! #FML

I feel like I’ve stepped into some alternate universe when the universal opinion is that Toronto had the best dirt and was the best track of the series.
